Each product type offers a unique experience, content, odds and price points.
The Hanger Banger.... Hangers are always budget friendly, single pack formats containing a fixed amount of cards and a few retail inserts. Hangers and "Fat Packs" often yield some of the best price-per-card value if you are just trying to build a base set and can contain surprising hits.
These are the hobby gold standard, widely available as an easy way to get introduced to a new set or product. Value boxes usually feature around 6 to 7 packs and are built primarily for casual collectors or set builders looking for specific retail-exclusive variations or exclusive retail case hits.
Mega's are the largest and most premium retail box. They deliver a high card volume and includes mega exclusive parallels (like Topps Chrome "Mojo Refractors") They are cheaper than Hobby boxes, but still provide a nice chance at pulling top inserts and rare parallels.
The Hobby Box is the benchmark for collectors. A Hobby Box generally guarantees one autograph or relic card per box. With increased odds, case hit chances and guaranteed parallels the hobby box delivers a fun, yet premium multi-pack experience. Hobby's usually are the perfect balance between cost, card volume, and a guaranteed hit.
The name says it all. Jumbo equals a high volume format, they feature larger packs and typically guarantee multiple hits and or autographs in comparison to hobby boxes. Jumbo Boxes can also mix autographs and relics (e.g., 1 auto and 1 relic, or up to 3 autos depending on the sport). Jumbos can also provide exclusive parallels and increased odds.
